PR Guidelines

Headline and Summary

  • Headlines should not be too long (preferably under 18 words), short and accurate headlines perform better.
  • Headlines with active verbs and subjects will be more enticing.
  • Headlines should accurately present the press release’s content.
  • Refrain from using special characters and symbols in headlines such as ™ or ©. Symbols run the risk of being omitted by some of our media partners.
  • Headlines should be newsworthy (important and recent enough to be announced).
  • Summary should clearly describe the press release’s content.
  • Summary should be clear and concise, and presented in a few short sentences. Long summary runs the risk of being trimmed by some of our media partners.

Press Release Format

  • Press releases should be in appropriate length (between 300 to 800 words is the sweet spot)
  • Press releases should read impartial and official — usage of casual first person language is not suggested (I, we, you, etc).
  • Press releases should read like an announcement — asking questions in a press release is not suggested.
  • Press releases should read like an announcement — it is not a medium to advertise or sell your product or service.
  • Do not insert JavaScript or other markup languages in your press release, such as ol, li, table
  • Press releases should be properly formatted.
  • Only include a quote that someone has actually said.
  • Images and videos are great, but excessive use is not recommended. 1 image/video per release is the usual standard.
  • Links are a great way to point the readers to more information, but excessive use is not recommended. 1 link per 200 word count is the usual standard.
  • Press releases should always contain contact information.
  • Press releases should contain the city and country of origin.
  • Press releases should contain no or few grammatical and spelling errors.

  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases that aim to exact revenge against any party.

  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept topics regarding government board, agencies, ministries, policies, administrations, offices, departments and more.

  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases containing unauthorised stock ticker symbols.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases that promote online gambling, online betting, and any other forms of gambling related product or services.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases that promote any forms of alcohol and drugs.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases promoting tobacco and e-cigs related products.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases promoting unregulated products like green coffee, raspberry ketones, HCG, Kratom, Garcinia Cambogia, and more.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept topics regarding illegal device unlocking, rooting or jail-breaking of devices.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept topics regarding pirated software, cracks, APK, and more.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases that are purely advertising or promotional in nature.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases about affiliate product reviews, product reviews or trials that are excessively promotional.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept content about supplements and weight loss.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases that promote body modification procedures.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept releases that promote unregulated cosmetics.
Additional Content Guidelines For Blockchain Related Topics
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept blockchain related press releases that contain monetary-driven keywords or elements such as ROI, token reward, lottery, play-to-earn, make money, earn cryptocurrency, earn dividend, and earn airdrop (not an exclusive list). If the purpose of the release is promotional in nature, it is unlikely that it will be accepted.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept blockchain related press releases that promises or promotes scam recovery services.
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept blockchain related press releases that its main purpose is to piggyback on another Crypto or NFT assets (such as comparison with other projects).
  • MarketersMEDIA does not accept blockchain related press releases that only contain opinion or speculation.
  • For press release distributing through our Director circuit, crypto assets included in the press release must be officially listed on CoinMarketCap as a tracked listing.
  • For press release distributing through our Director circuit, NFT assets included in the press release must be officially listed on RaritySniper (Ethereum network), SolSea (Solana network), or Binance NFT (Binance network) as a tracked project.
  • For press release distributing through our Director circuit, a thorough KYC procedure will be conducted to verify the identity of the issuer.
